Asked Questions 1. What is Wing N Rock Fest? Outdoor event featuring multiple chicken wing restaurants and great rock classic rock and tribute bands. After 2 great years at Park Tavern we moved to the 2. When are event hours? 1:30PM to 9:30PM 3. Is it free event? Yes, event is free and open to the public 4. Is this event is 21 and up? No, It is an all ages event but must be 21 to drink alcohol 5. How do get there & where do I park? The Cobb County Parking Deck, all county court lots and the Mill Street lot will be available for parking. The parking deck will be free that day; you can enter off Waddell Street. The Mill Street lot is also free. The county court lots are individually owned and parking fees may be applicable. You can also park at Marietta Middle School and be shuttled to the Square by the Historic Marietta Trolley. The Trolley Shuttle will operate between the Middle School lot and drop off on Mill Street. The Trolley Shuttle will be free that day and will run from 1pm-7:30pm. Directions Parking 6. Can I bring in anything? Yes, you can bring chairs & blankets for the grassy area in the park. Tables & chairs for seating are provided throughout the festival. Reserved seating is available in front of the stage. No outside food or beverages are allowed. 7. How much are wing tickets? Each wing is 83 cents sold in packs of 6, 12 or 24 wings 6 for $5, 12 for $10 & 24 for $20 8. Will there be other food? Yes, The festival will offer a limited food menu for people who do not eat chicken wings with barbecue, hot dogs, hamburgers, fish and other items. 9. What will festival have for kids? The festival has a huge kid zone sponsored by Gas South with multiple jumpies and other amusements rides along with popcorn, sno-cones & cotton candy that is all FREE. Also in this area will be other booths that have kid oriented offerings for a small fee such as a rock wall, crazy hairdo's, tattoos, sand art, glow in the dark items, etc. 10. Can I bring my dog? Yes, the festival takes place in a public park where dogs are allowed. You may bring your dog, but ask that you pick up after your pet and use common sense as to whether bringing your dog would be appropriate, and if your dog would be comfortable. This is a very large festival with thousands of people and is typically a very hot day so bringing pets is actually discouraged because of this along with the risk factor of a pet eating a discarded chicken wing bone. All dogs must be on a leash at all times. 10. Will there be ATMs on site? Yes! ATMs will be provided on the corner of North Park & East Park. 11. How many people attend the Wing & Rock Fest? Last year we had an impressive 7,500+ people attend and this year we are expecting a great crowd again of 10,000 plus. 12. What roads will be closed for the Wing & Rock Fest? North Park & East Park will be closed. 13. Where are rest rooms located at the Wing & Rock Fest? Public rest rooms are located at the Marietta Welcome Center & Visitors Bureau in the old train depot building. There will be portable rest rooms and hand washing facilities on Root Street. 14. Is any money being raised for charity? Yes, Proceeds from the wing sales go to Atlanta Fundraising Foundation to support various charitable causes. 15.
